Expectations go in line with our budget and our goals. It is important to keep things in perspective, most banks dont offer any rates of return more than 4% a year (if you are lucky), the stock market over the long run offers about a 10% rate of return a year. So if you could make a 10% rate of return a week betting then you are way ahead of the curve when it comes to making profit off your money.
If you do the math its real simple, if you are getting a 12% rate of return a year then you are doubling your money approximately every 6 years. So imagine if you are getting a 12% rate of return a week, then you will double your money every 6 weeks. So if you are laying out $22 a day in bets and then at the end of the week you laid out $154 to win just 12% profit that would be $173 so you earned $19 that week. Doesn't sound like much, but if you next week bet $173 and earned a 12% rate of return then we are talking about $194. Again not that exciting, but take it out 4 more weeks and so forth you will be very excited.
So how does one earn 12% rate of return, to be honest it is hard to just earn 12% return, you can expect higher. Lets start with the premise that you must win 55% of your wagers, what will that pay. Lets say you make on average 2 bets per day so you make 14 a week. Lets say you are betting $11 a game (I know most of you bet much more than this but these small numbers are easy to use for examples) that would be $154. So you have to win at least 55% of the time if you remember so 55% of 14 is 7.7, and since you can't win .7 games you round up to 8. So you must win at least 8 and can lose no more than 6, for a win % of 57%. Lets see your rate of return at that win rate...
Bet $154 - Won 8 bets and lost 6 so - 8 X $10 (win when you bet) + 8 X $11 (your bet back) - 6 X $11 (your loss) = $168.
You made a profit of $14 this week that is a 9% rate of return. So at a 57% win rate you will double your investment in about 8 weeks. Where else can you earn 9% a week legally on your money.
You might be thinking ya but what if I lose one week, yes but also what if you go 11-3 another week. It all evens out with the right strategy and the right information.
